Hey All! Congrats on "VIEW" and all the good reviews.
I'm currently in THE BROTHER
The untold account of the Rosenberg atomic spy drama, seen through the eyes of Ethel Rosenberg’s brother, David Greenglass. Directed by Oscar & Golden Globe nominated director, John Hancock (Bang the Drum Slowly).
A tragic story of family betrayal, espionage and the historic trial that ended with the electric chair.
Playing at The Theatre Building 1225 W. Belmont Chicago
through November 18.
The show stars Steppenwolf's Robert Breuler and he is terrific! as are we all.... :-)
It's an interesting process to play a real-life character, I am Mommie Dearest in every sense of that description - Tessie is a real piece of work - so...fun to play!
Just shot a political spot for candidate Jay Footlik and did some voicework for GE Healthcare.
Looking forward to working at my "home theatre" of AWT in Glengarry Glen Ross.
Enjoy the rest of your run!
Debra Rodkin
Loved the "View". Congrats to all on uniformly solid, delightful and touching work.
I'm finishing up "Coronado" at Steep Theatre -- a much less luxurious environment, but perhaps more appropriate for the gritty characters and subject matter. If you've seen "View" (you'd better!) and you're in the mood for something funkier (David Lynch/Quentin Tarantino) come down to Wrigleyville and give it a look. We wrap Saturday night.
Next up is "Three Hotels" featuring the First Lady of the AWT stage, Ms. Jan Ellen Graves.
